MY CENTRAL AIR UNIT IS NOT WORKING!!! :(

ARGH!!!! I would ask "what next" but I'm afraid to..LOL

Yesterday, my central air unit refused (absolutely REFUSED) to come on.  I don't know why.  I replaced the two fuses in the little box behind the unit - it has been YEARS since they were replaced and I really hoped that it would agree to come on - but no it wouldn't.  Tomorrow morning I'm going to the basement and turn all my circuit breakers off and back on in hopes that maybe - just maybe - one doesn't have a true "connection" and this will fix it - if it doesn't - well....

Monday I will have to call an "expert" and pay the "expert" to tell me what needs to be fixed.  Poop.  Did you ever have the feeling that just when you feel you are a "little ahead" - something happends to put you a "little behind".....LOL - welcome to my world....LOL

Now - God is good.  It is NOT 90 degrees.  Right now the house has stayed quite comfortably coolish - not bad at all.  The next few days are "cloudy" - thank you God - my trees will help shade the house and Wednesday night will see a cold front come in with "much cooler temperatures" - thank you God.  We will make this.  I told Ryan that if he gets too hot tomorrow to take a washcloth - wet it in cold water, wipe off his head, face, neck and arms and sit in front of his fan and he will "cool right down" - I also told him to take a luke warm shower if he gets too hot.  Just don't think it's going to happen - I think the house will stay cool with our fans going inside.  The nights are much cooler and this helps to lower the temp inside the house also.

We will make it.  God is good.

Tomorrow is another day at DW - I work noon to 7 p.m.   I appreciate the cooler tempratures at DW also - thank you God.

Have a great rest of the weekend - and above all - find

Peace

Hello,

An oversize compressor also costs more to operate because it simply takes more electricity to run a bigger unit. And an oversize unit doesn't lower humidity effectively. That's because it cools the air so quickly that it shuts off before it has a chance to circulate the proper volume of air past the coils to extract the necessary moisture for split system air conditioner.
