I love a day off from work - but these Monday holidays are killers on Tuesday mornings!!!!
Today did not start out well - we had two cases in court this morning and had problems with both of them - our clients were not happy, I was not happy, my boss was not happy - WE ARE NOT HAPPY THIS MORNING!!
I'm still keeping up with the news from Louisiana - now that the people are being taken care of, animal rescue teams are going in to try to help all the pets that had to be left behind. I looked at my two babies last night - sacked out on my bed and thought to myself - I'd never leave without them - I'd have to manage to find a way to take them with me if we ever had to leave in an emergency.
Ever since 911 I have kept extra jugs of water at home, and I always buy two bags of dog food so that I have an extra on hand. I keep canned veggies - we could live on them quite well if we had to - neither Ryan or I feel the need to have meat at every meal.
I don't even like to think about stuff like that.
Ryan is supposed to go practice bowling tonight for Special Olympics. I haven't even told him that - it's going to be a surprise. He LOVES to bowl.
Well....I've got a lot of work to do today - so I had better get at it.
