Those poor, poor people! I cannot imagine what it is like down there with no home, no water, no job, family members missing, dead - I just can't imagine. My heart goes out to all those people. I wish I could pack up and go down there and do SOMETHING - I am getting some stuff together to send down there through a local relief effort here and I'm going to donate to the Red Cross - but I wish I could do more.
Gas prices here are astronomical and several stations are out of gas. I filled my car up yesterday at $2.99 a gallon - it is $6 a gallon in Atlanta - People are running scared here - scared that there will be no more gas. They are starting to "hord" gas, which is not going to help the situation.
If I had to - I could walk to work - I could walk to a grocery store - but EVERYTHING is going to be affected by the gas situation - truckers cannot afford to drive - which will drive the price of produce and food up.....God help us.....I know He will.
Peace
