TIME - THERE IS JUST NOT ENOUGH OF IT

Well - from the date of my last entry - oh well - just not enough time to write - and I LOVE to write.

I'm still working 3 jobs although my acting job is "quiet" right now - we don't have another show until late August - I miss my acting buds but I have enjoyed not having the rehearsals.  Gave me some extra "time".....LOL

We lost Julie, our love bird, in November of last year.  She died quite peacefully in her sleep in her solo cup that she slept in every night.  Ryan found her and was quite upset...called me at work crying....I thought he was saying Millie was dead and my heart did many flutters until I could get him to calm down and found out it was Julie.  We miss her, but she was sooooo unhappy - I guess she is finally at peace.  So we lost one bird and gained 3 more - three finches - another rescue - sort of.  A lady asked me is I would take "a finch".  Sure - no problem as long as she had a cage.  Well she brought the finch in a cage that my parrot would covet it he saw it - it is HUGE.  It had one very forlorn little male finch in it (his mate had recently died) and a BUTTON QUAIL!  The little quail was quite sweet and a real attention getter for our clients here at the office.  Unfortunately little "Button" died in March.  Don't know why - just came in one morning and he was tilted sideways in the cage.  I picked him up - and wrapped him in a soft napkin and stroked his little head and back as he quietly slipped away.  The male finch thrived, especially after the additions of Barbara and Betsy the two females I was dumb enough to go buy for him.  They are a joy though - funny little birds - always "busy"  and they now have an egg - everyone sits in the nest so it will probably end up being broken.  Oh well. 

So our bird population is now at 9.....hmmmmm.  Nine is enough......unless somebody calls me with a bird that needs a home.....hmmmmmm....Oh well

My goal is to try to write a little something each day - even if it is just a sentence or two.  We'll see if I am successful at this.  Time - just not enough of it.
