Well - I got up early to get to the office early to meet my boss who was supposed to come by the office early - and HE didn't show up! He went directly on to the Justice Center and I had to take him everything he was supposed to stop and pick up. Oh well.
The temps for this weekend are going to be soooo much better - low 80's and high 70's - thank God! These days of mid 90's have been killers - literally. People have died from the heat! So sad.
I like Wednesdays because that's when Pogo.com starts the competition for Pogo memebers to win badges by playing games. I LOVE POGO! And I love my friend Margaret even more than I used to because she gave me a one year club subscription to Pogo and we converse about those darn badges we work so hard to get - it's really a lot of fun and they have the best games at Pogo.
My friend Margaret by the way, is the person that I met on the internet - we have never met in person,but I feel like I have known her all my life. We share a love of pekingese and dogs in geneal and she was soooo supportive all through my little Barney's long illness and eventual death. Barney was one of my Pekes by the way. We talk by phone at least 2-3 times a month and sort of "keep up" with each other.
ANYWAY - one of these days we are going to meet in person and she will get the biggest hug from me.
