Man - we had an awesome storm come through here about 7:30 p.m. The cold front that is going to bring our temps down came through and the temps are down....but.....man..... that was some storm.
The thunder was like a continuous roll - it didn't stop - just kept on rolling over my house - and the wind - geez - the wind - and flashing lightning - and a LOT of rain all at once.
I stood on my front porch and said many many prayers to God to "cup my house in His hand" and protect it from the falling limbs and the lightning. The storn was just awesome - the power and the noise - just incredible. Our power flickered but never went off - I got off the computer and turned off my central air just in case - didn't want the fuses to blow and just said prayer after prayer.
After the storm had passed I went out and looked around - there were many branches and leaves and twigs down, but none on my house - it was spared.
I said many "thank yous" to God for keeping us safe. Our God is soooooo good and He does take care of us. I even think He takes care of those who don't believe in Him.
Well - the storm has passed and the temps are cooler - Thank you Lord
