Okay - I was off on Friday and spent the entire day doing laundry and cleaning Ryan's room. Wow. If I ever start to buy him any clothes - somebody kick me. He has more clothes that he will ever wear!!
I really felt like I accomplished something - I can now see his floor of his room.
Yesterday we went to Dollywood and had a wonderful day - until about 5:30 when I got a call from Mary saying that they needed me in parking to be a conductor on the trams. Okay - met up with Ryan, told him, he pouted (but just for a second), gave him his ticket for Christmas in the Smokies and I headed off to parking for my first official conductor session.
It wa actually fun! I worked until all the guests were gone, and then "hitched" a ride on the last tram to tram stop D/E where my car was and we came on home. Got home a little after midnight - took a shower 'cause I was "chilled to the bone" as my grandmother used to say.
When I work up this morning, my legs had swelled up - AGAIN - and I couldn't bend them enough to get in the car - so had to call and tell them I couldn't teach my CCD class today - hated to do that but - well.
I put pillows under my knees and the swelling is going down nicely. Probably need to talk to my doctor about that huh.
