Millie - my little soul connection - my baby.
When I am sad - she is right there - absorbing my tears.
When I am depressed - her eyes fill my soul.
When I am happy - she plays - flipping her toys high in the air.
When I am in pain - she lies beside me, touching me, healing me.
When I wake up each morning she comes - from under my quilt stretching, sliding up to lay her head next to mine on my pillow.
My little soul connection - my Millie.
I've had her now for seven years. I'm not sure what that is in dog years, but seven years of my life have been entwined with hers. Had I been afraid to love again, after Barney, I never would have known those seven years. But I was not afraid and she has filled the empty space in my heart.
She is smart, protective, loving, and sweet.

Dogs are great companions!! I dont know what I would do without the 2 that I have.
